How To Explode Your Profits Using Backend Marketing
All the IM professionals recognize regarding selling products on the backend to really boost the profits. This is often truly pretty simple to drag off, and you make a lower priced supply and then hit them with a better priced supply on the backend of the ordering process. You would like to understand the concept of “lifetime value of a customer,” and that is what this is all about.
No matter what kind of product you’re selling, you will always have prospects reaching out to you that haven’t bought from you yet. If you have an optin offer, then hopefully you can create your own email marketing list. As you have rightly guessed, when you are emailing your list with content, you also slip a promo email in there, too. They probably did not buy your initial product because they didn’t feel it was suitable. Once someone buys from you, then you move that person to another list – a list where you repeat the process but with higher ticket products. You will often see people using the “thank you” page to introduce new products or advertise them. Why let this page go to waste when you have the opportunity to showcase your backend product? Your customers are still in the “buying mode” after purchasing your frontend product and they still have their credit card in hand. The best approach to doing this is to offer something different that works with the first product but also is stronger. One of the reasons this works so well is simply because the customer is now your customer – there is trust and that person is open to buying.
A good marketer will have links to their various offers in their pdfs and other places. This is almost like passive selling because you are just leaving something out hoping they will. There will be many areas in your eBook where you can recommend your related products or even affiliate products. Try not to get hung up on wondering how well it will work, you just have to do it and keep doing it. It does not matter what the ebook is about so long as it is relevant to your market.
You can introduce all kinds that will make you more money with your business. But this is all about backend selling, and it is powerful stuff to be sure. Whether or not you do it is your call, but just know that you are walking away from perfectly good money by not doing it.
